Rationale:

Because from time to time election results may be challenged it is necessary to keep the results available for scrutineering.

Standard:

Results of each election shall be announced by returning officer at the AGM.

Upon announcement of the results the ballot papers shall be sealed in an envelope by the Returning Officer and kept for seven (7) days after the AGM.

The executive shall meet within 5 days after the AGM to hear any challenges to the results.

The returning officer shall automatically destroy the ballot paper after the 7 days unless otherwise directed by the executive committee.
