Rationale:
It is the Captain’s responsibility to maintain the Rural Fire Service vehicles of the Brigade to ensure that the vehicles are fully operational at all times.
Standard:
Vehicles are to be serviced and maintained in accordance with service instructions "A" to "D" issued by the BMRFS and the manufacturers’ specifications.
Service details are recorded on the "Vehicle Service Record" form.
Requisitions for oil and filters are to be submitted to BMRFS. Requisition is to include vehicle number, stock number and quantity required.
