Rationale:

Operational equipment issued to, purchased by or donated to the Brigade is for the sole purpose of training, carrying out hazard reductions and operational activities.

Under NO circumstances is any operational equipment to be loaned to members.

However, members may borrow from time to time non-operational equipment from the Brigade on the understanding that it is returned in a clean/undamaged condition as soon as possible. Gas bottles are to be refilled.

Only the Captain may give permission for any private use.

Items borrowed must be recorded on  the Brigade’s notice board and signed in and out by a Field Officer.
