Title: BT-07 BRIGADE TRAINING PLAN

 

Rationale:

The Captain is responsible for the training needs of the Brigade. However a Training Officer may be appointed by the Captain to ensure that a training programme is developed and implemented.

Standard:

The Training Officer is responsible for the administration of training at Brigade level. Suitably qualified and accredited Group Officers will assist in validation of training on a sector basis.

The Brigade Training Officer must submit a training plan for the Brigade through the Captain to the DFCO Training / Planning by 30th November each year for incorporation into the District Training Plan.

Reporting and recording of training at Brigade level is the responsibility of the Captain. All training course details will be maintained on our membership data base. The Captain must supply updated training records to the DFCO Training / Planning once per year or on a needs basis.

Reports and records must be in accordance with District and State SOP's.

The Brigade Captain, Deputy Captains and Training Officer shall promote training in a positive frame at all times.

Standard Operating Procedure

SOP should be read in conjunction with the District SOP's and the District Training Plan.
