The Objectives of Blaxland Volunteer Bushfire Brigade are to meet together and maintain an efficient and effective emergency service oriented primarily toward bushfire fighting, by regular training, fund-raising and other means which will be ready and equipped to

Minimise loss of life and property Check and extinguish any fire as directed by the appropriate authority Organise preventive measures against bushfires Perform other activities of an emergency or support nature as directed by the appropriate authority.
